Ms Asenaca Nawaqalevu
Asenaca Nawaqalevu is an Urban & Regional Planner by Profession and holds a Bachelor of Planning Degree (B. Plan) from Auckland University in New Zealand and Master of Urban & Regional Planning Degree (MURP) from Sydney University in Australia. She spent many years as City Planning Manager for the Capital City of Suva, setting the direction for development of Fiji’s capital city prior to joining the University of the South Pacific as an academic at the Discipline of Land Management & Development at the University of the South Pacific . Her area of interests and research is on policy and community planning, housing needs and accessibility; and the management of customary land for our indigenous community.

Loi Turaga
Loi is a Chartered Accountant and seasoned executive with a career spanning Finance, Investment, Risk Management, Audit, and Compliance. She holds a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of the South Pacific. Her leadership journey by transformation, governance excellence, and strategic growth across government-owned and private sector organizations in the Pacific. Loi has serviced in senior leadership positions including being the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Tonga Development Bank.

Mosese Volavola
Mosese Volavola is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in Fiji’s building, civil construction, and roads infrastructure industry. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Basic Industries Limited (2011–2021), where he tripled company revenue and expanded operations across the South Pacific. Prior to that, he held senior management roles at Standard Concrete Industries, overseeing quarry, road construction, and manufacturing operations.
Currently Principal of Mosese Sunia Volavola Consultancy, he advises on corporate strategy, operations, and infrastructure projects & development. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Auckland and a Master of Engineering Management from the Sydney University of Technology, complemented by executive programs at Harvard Business School and Oxford’s Said Business School.
