SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF EXPANDABLE / INCREMENTAL HOMES AT NAMELIMELI DEVELOPMENT SITE, NAVUA.

The Public Rental Board (the “Board”) is established by the Housing (Amendment) Decree 1989 and is mandated to provide affordable rental and titled housing to low-income families in Fiji. The Board hereby invite submissions from qualified suppliers and manufacturers for the design, supply and installation of Expandable / Incremental Homes at its Namelimeli Development site in Navua.

Project Scope

We are seeking proposals for:

• 1–2 Bedroom Expandable Homes
• Light durable steel or equivalent robust construction
• Fiji Engineer Certified structural design
• Fully compliant with Fiji National Building Standards
• Certified environmentally friendly materials and systems
• Ready-to-use structures with all service provisions included:
  • Electrical wiring
  • Plumbing
  • Sanitation
  • Drainage connections
  • Water supply provisions

The homes must be designed as incremental units, allowing for future expansion while maintaining structural integrity and compliance.

Mandatory Requirements

Interested suppliers must:

• Be legally registered to operate in Fiji
• Provide evidence of Fiji-based engineering certification
• Demonstrate experience in light steel or modular housing construction
• Ensure structures are designed specifically for Fiji’s:
  • Soil conditions
  • Cyclonic and high-wind weather exposure
• Conduct mandatory site visits prior to finalizing design proposals
• Provide detailed technical specifications and compliance documentation
