Asenaca Nawaqalevu is an Urban & Regional Planner by Profession and holds a Bachelor of Planning Degree (B. Plan) from Auckland University in New Zealand and Master of Urban & Regional Planning Degree (MURP) from Sydney University in Australia. She spent many years as City Planning Manager for the Capital City of Suva, setting the direction for development of Fiji\u2019s capital city prior to joining the University of the South Pacific as an academic at the Discipline of Land Management & Development at the University of the South Pacific . Her area of interests and research is on policy and community planning, housing needs and accessibility; and the management of customary land for our indigenous community.<\/p>\n

Originally from Sichuan, China, he migrated to Fiji in 1995 and was granted citizenship in 2003. He is the founder and Managing Director of Gold Hold Seafood Pte Ltd<\/strong> and Great North Seafood Pte Ltd<\/strong>, leading exporters of fish, sea cucumber, beche\u2011de\u2011mer, and sandalwood to international markets including China, Australia, New Zealand, and Dubai.<\/p>\n

Mr. Du has expanded his business portfolio to include Gold Hold Investment Ltd, Gold Hold Solar Pte Ltd, and Gold Hold Sawmill Pte Ltd<\/strong>, reflecting his diversification into energy and forestry. His entrepreneurial achievements were formally recognized when he received the Prime Minister\u2019s Exporter of the Year Award (Forestry Exporter of the Year)<\/strong> in 2010.<\/p>\n

Educated in commerce and accounting at The Open University in Sichuan, Mr. Du combines financial acumen with operational expertise. Fluent in Chinese and English, with working knowledge of Fijian, he is regarded as a resourceful and tactful leader in Fiji\u2019s export sector. As Manager Internal Audit at Fiji Airports, she has strengthened governance, risk management, and assurance practices by establishing robust frameworks, enhancing internal controls, and improving Board and management oversight, contributing to greater organisational resilience, transparency, and strategic decision-making.<\/p>\n

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Loi holds a Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, and a Degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of the South Pacific, alongside professional memberships in Fiji, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Her distinguished career includes senior executive roles including Group Chief Risk Officer, Group Chief Finance Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and Group Manager Internal Audit. Her career highlights include establishing governance, risk, audit, and compliance frameworks for major organisations and contributing to the transformation of the Tonga Development Bank into a commercial banking institution.<\/p>\n

Recognised for her collaborative and values-driven leadership style, she is passionate about mentoring future leaders and fostering professional development. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Basic Industries Limited (2011\u20132021), where he tripled company revenue and expanded operations across the South Pacific. Prior to that, he held senior management roles at Standard Concrete Industries, overseeing quarry, road construction, and manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n

Currently Principal of Mosese Sunia Volavola Consultancy, he advises on corporate strategy, operations, and infrastructure projects & development. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, India, and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Fiji National University.<\/p>\n

Krishneel is a member of numerous international engineering societies, including Engineering New Zealand, Engineers Australia, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Japan Society of Civil Engineers, and the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK). He is also a registered APEC Engineer and International Professional Engineer in both New Zealand and Australia.<\/p>\n

Currently serving as Director and Civil\/Structural Engineer at Isotect Engineers (Fiji) Pte Ltd, he has led major projects across Fiji, India, and China, including commercial complexes, apartment developments, resorts, and industrial facilities. His portfolio features landmark projects such as the WG Friendship Plaza in Suva, Damodar City Complex, and Vuvale Plaza for McDonald\u2019s in Nadi.<\/p>\n

Krishneel has over 12 years of accumulated professional experience and has contributed to public service as a Board Member of Habitat for Humanity Fiji (2023\u20132025) and the Public Rental Board (2026\u2013present). [\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Salimoni Davelevu Theophilus Karusi” font_container=”tag:p|font_size:1.3em|text_align:left|color:%23020202″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]Experienced legal, governance, and board advisory professional with over 15 years of service across statutory bodies and public sector institutions in Fiji, he began his career with Howards Lawyers in 2008 after graduating from the University of the South Pacific School of Law.\u00a0 He later joined the Fiji Development Bank as a Legal Officer Attach\u00e9 in December 2008, before being promoted and confirmed as Senior Legal Officer in August 2009.\u00a0 He then joined the Housing Authority as Legal Counsel and Board Secretary in December 2016 and was instrumental in efforts to remerge PRB with the Housing Authority, as directed by the government at the time. \u00a0He offers strong expertise in corporate governance, board procedures, compliance, legal risk management, policy development, and strategic oversight. He currently serves as Board Secretary for the iTaukei Land Trust Board and has built a strong record of supporting effective decision-making, maintaining sound governance processes, and ensuring alignment with statutory and fiduciary responsibilities.<\/p>\n

His professional experience includes advising boards and senior executives on governance frameworks, legislative and policy reform, contracts, stakeholder accountability, and institutional performance. He has contributed to significant organisational initiatives in digital transformation, complex legal documentation, and strengthening governance systems, providing him with practical insight into strategic planning, oversight, and responsible stewardship.<\/p>\n

He is recognised for sound judgement, integrity, discretion, and the ability to engage constructively with diverse stakeholders at board and executive levels. His leadership approach is collaborative and disciplined, with a focus on accountability, good governance, and long-term institutional value.
